Trish Keenan of the band Broadcast died 10 years ago on January 14, 2011. She was one of my favorite artists and I was saddened to hear the news that she had passed at such a relatively young age. Although I didn't know her, I was fortunate enough to see her perform on two separate occasions.

After learning of her passing, I spent some time that evening at a small rehearsal space I was renting with a couple friends in Bay City, Michigan at the time. I recorded this brief instrumental piece as a way to reflect on her band's music and what it meant to me. Ten years on, I continue to appreciate her art and wanted to share this as a small reminder of that.

The other track that accompanies this was recorded in somewhat close proximity to this short instrumental piece and, in my opinion, sits next to it pretty well. Enjoy!
